Building a favicon set
Why multiple sizes?
Browsers and devices request favicons at different resolutions: 16 and 32 px for tabs and bookmarks, 180 px for iOS home screens, and 192/512 px for Android and PWAs. Shipping a single size leads to blurry icons somewhere, so this tool exports the whole set at once.
Your image is center-cropped to a square and scaled down to each size, then bundled into a ZIP with a short README showing the exact <link> tags to paste into your site's <head>.
Best source image
Start from a square, high-contrast logo at 512 px or larger. Simple, bold shapes read far better at 16 px than detailed artwork — fine details disappear at favicon sizes.

What sizes are included?
16, 32, 48, 64, 180, 192, and 512 px PNGs — covering browsers, iOS, Android, and PWAs.
Do I get a .ico file?
The pack ships PNGs (the modern, widely-supported approach). For a classic favicon.ico, convert the 32px PNG with our image converter.
Is my image uploaded?
No. The favicons are generated on a canvas in your browser; nothing is sent to a server.
How do I install them?
Unzip into your site root and paste the <link> tags from the included README into your HTML head.
