Reading image dimensions
What you'll see
The checker reports the exact pixel width and height, the total megapixels, the simplified aspect ratio (like 16:9), the file size, and the file type. That's everything you need to know whether an image meets a platform's requirements.
Pixels vs. file size
Dimensions (pixels) decide how large an image appears; file size (KB/MB) decides how fast it loads and whether it fits an upload limit. A small-pixel image can still be a large file if it's uncompressed — use the compressor to shrink the file without changing dimensions.
