Rounded corners, done right

Why a transparent PNG?

Rounding corners means the four corners become empty. To keep them invisible on any background, the result must be a PNG with transparency — a JPG would fill the corners with a solid color and ruin the effect. This tool always exports a transparent PNG.

Adjustable radius

The corner radius is a percentage of the image's shorter side, so a subtle rounding or a strong, almost-pill shape both scale correctly with your image size.

Frequently asked questions

What format is the result?

A transparent PNG, so the rounded corners show through on any background.

Can I make it a circle?

Set the radius to 50% on a square image for a circle — or use the dedicated Circle Crop tool.

Does it lose quality?

No. Only the corners are masked; the rest of the image keeps full resolution.

Is my image uploaded?

No. The rounding is done in your browser; nothing leaves your device.
